This sketch is the product of a few quiet moments sat by the back door. The bay tree (or seedling!), came from the bargain bin at the supermarket because it looked done for. He looks a lot happier now.
I live with my family, near Leeds and not far from open countryside. We have a small garden with wild areas. I like to go out for a stroll when the weather's good.

Really nice still life - I also especailly like the middle pencil sketch of the sheep below. (How do you know it's a 'he'?)(the bay tree).
You do know that you inspired me to go out and do real life sketching again - for which I thank you.
